  1. Ha! Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I remind my students that we need to be sitting on these chairs properly and that they're not meant for us to dance on. I find myself saying, "Please, let's stop dancing with our chairs otherwise, you wil need to sit on a non-swivel chair." That gets them to stop just enough for us to finish our activity.

  2. Yep! My solution is that the students don't get to sit in swivel chairs. I only have two in my classroom and they are both "teacher chairs." I thought that once I moved to fifth grade, it would get better. I think it actually got worse haha
